This week, we hosted our Clean Economy Industry Roundtable, with seven organisations attending from across the state.
Delivered in partnership with Monash Precinct Network, the event saw industry participants join us onsite at MTS to unpack emerging industry trends and generate a snapshot of future workforce demographics.
Professionals brought workforce and clean economy insights from a wide range of organisations, including ABB, City of Monash, Cleanaway, EnyGy, Jacobs, Jupiter Ionics, and Kandu.
Together, the group predicted possible future clean economy headlines between 2025 and 2035. They discussed what Victoria could be doing by then and how this could impact their organisation and future employees. Headlines covered topics such as energy consumption, electric vehicles and biodiversity.
The session was full of collaboration and rich conversations around the future of our clean economy workforce, with each individual bringing their own expertise and unique perspectives.
For us at MTS, this information will be valuable in understanding local workforce development challenges and opportunities. The findings will also inform how we procure technology and develop future programs.
