Overcoming fear, uncertainty, and doubt attitudes to cybersecurity.

Cyberpowers took over MTS yesterday, with Year 8 and 9 students exploring the humanitarian aspects of cybersecurity with the help of RMIT University’s School of Science.
Female students from Glen Waverley SC and Brentwood SC worked together to discover how they can be proactive rather than reactive to cyber risks.

Activities incorporated specialised tech solutions that allowed students to follow a narrative whilst exploring technical concepts such as scam detection, password security and open-source intelligence.
Thank you to RMIT University’s School of Science for their work in delivering this valuable program to students.
