Industry Immersions Program
Net Zero Industry Immersion allowed students to tour the Monash University Net Zero Initiative and investigate practical examples of net zero strategies in the Monash Precinct. Delivered in collaboration with Monash University’s Net Zero Initiative, the day saw students gain an understanding of how technologies in energy, design, construction and engineering are leading the work towards zero carbon emissions.
Career Launchpad is a fast paced networking opportunity between students, industry and Monash University that allows students to investigate careers and pathways that matter most to them. Students rotate around a room of professionals from sectors such as science, social justice, innovation, sustainability, and health, investigating each professional's career journey, and industry.
The Renewable Energies Industry Immersion is delivered in collaboration with Holmesglen Institute’s Renewable Energy Centre of Excellence, with support from Australian Women in Solar Energy, Vestas Australian Wind Technology, and the SEC Victoria. The day sees students explore pathways in the renewable energy and engineering sectors through solar, engineering and electrical rotations led by industry experts.
